I have always been a fanatic about hunting turkey, dove, pheasant, and various small game, but bow hunting whitetails became my addiction, and a way of life. At the age of 15 Andy first took up
hunting whitetails, turkey, dove,
pheasant and small game, where his
love and passion for the outdoors
began. Andy took his first buck, a nice
8 pt at the age of 16. Over the last 28
years Andy has become an
accomplished shooter and hunter in
many various areas. From 1989 thru
2000 Andy spent years training and
competing in gun dog Field Trials and
Hunt Tests finishing several Junior,
Senior, and Master level German
Shorthair Pointers acquiring many
ribbons, trophies and titles in the
Mid Atlantic regions. Although Andy
had devoted much of his time to
various types of hunting, his true
passion has always been bow hunting
whitetails, where he spends up to
80 days a season in tree stands
pursuing whitetails. This
has accounted for his great success
in taking more than 100 deer over the
past 26 years.
Andy is also the creator and President
of UltimateCamo and spent 3 years
field testing and perfecting 72 strike
off image and color combinations until
we knew he had the perfect pattern.
Andy also has become
an accomplished outdoor
photographer taking thousands of
pictures each year which has helped
him in creating this pattern which is
like no other. Its true utility is not only
the detail of the bark pattern, but how
the colors brighten in the sun and
darken in shade without blobbing. The
colors in the fabric react just
like real bark. Andy is committed to
designing and creating the best
whitetail tree stand, and ground
